Game preview: Titans visit Rebels today for holiday matinee

The New Jersey Titans visit the Class of 1923 Arena for a holiday matinee game slated to begin at 4:20pm. It will be Skate Night with the Rebels immediately following the game. This will be the Rebels last home game until Friday, February 16 when the Northeast Generals visit. A Rebels nine game road trip will commence on Friday, January 19 beginning with two games against the Johnstown Tomahawks.

Rebels vs. Titans Overview
This will be the sixth meeting between these two teams. The Titans have won three of the five games by a combined score of 15 – 11. The Titans are the only team in which the Rebels have a losing record against. The last time they played was on Wednesday, December 20 at Middletown’s Ice World with the Titans winning 4 – 1. Four of the five games played so far have been played at the Class of 1923.

The Titans have four players who have four points respectively against the Titans: Nick Boyagian (1 goal and 3 assists), Todd Goehring (2 goals and 2 assists), Eric Manoukian (all assists) and Tate Singleton (1 goal and 3 assists). Rebels Overview
The Rebels enter tonight’s game atop the East Division. They have a 24-8-1 record for 49 points. They are 3 – 2 during their past five games, and they are coming off of a 6 – 1 home win against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights.

The Rebels are led by Aaron Maguyon’s 26 points (10 goals and 16 assists). Jensen Zerban has 25 points (13 goals and 12 assists) and Andrew Bellant has 23 points (9 goals and 14 assists).
