The Rebels held the 17th pick in today’s NAHL player draft and selected left winger Shane McMahan from the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League. The 6’1, 2ll lb native of Lakewood, CO played in 59 games this past season for the Force and had 14 points (5 goals and 9 assists).
“Shane is a big, strong kid who works hard” stated head coach Joe Coombs. He is a competitor and was one of Fargo’s top penalty killers. He does a number of things well; he is a quality kid who possesses good leadership capabilities. I’m looking forward to having him come here” concluded Coombs.
