The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending November 26 and Rebels’ forward Charles Panchisin and defenseman Shawn Ramsey were named honorable mention for the East Division.
Panchisin had two goals during this past weekend’s split with the New Jersey Titans with both tallies coming in Saturday’s contest. The Vernon Hills, IL native leads the team with 16 total points (4 goals and 12 assists).
This is the second (and second consecutive) time this season that Panchisin has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was named second star of the week for week ending November 19.
Ramsey had one point (a goal) and it was a big one with the game winning goal in Friday’s 2 – 1 win over the Titans in overtime. Ramsey has ten total points (2 goals and 8 assists) in 21 games so far this season.
