“I’m excited for both Luke and Charles” said Rebels head coach and general manager Justin Hale. “They’ve earned the opportunity to showcase themselves and our club at this great event. Each are great teammates and have put in the work both on and off the ice,” concluded Hale.
The 2024 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament will feature six teams. Four Divisional Teams, each consisting of players from their respective divisions. The event will also feature two NAHL Selects Teams: NAHL Selects Gold and NAHL Selects Silver.
The number of players each NAHL team is sending to the tournament, in which four teams from the four NAHL divisions: Central, East, Midwest and South, will each play in two game games, was based on each team’s winning percentage within their group as of January 7, 2024. The NAHL Selects Silver Team will consist of players from the East, Midwest and South, due to division sizes and roster limits. Finally, the NAHL Selects Gold Team will feature players selected in conjunction with the NHL Central Scouting Department.
Only those NAHL players without an NCAA commitment are eligible to participate in the 2024 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, except for those who have been identified by NHL Central Scouting as prospects for the 2024 NHL Draft.
