SEWELL, N.J. — The Philadelphia Rebels have announced the call-up of defenseman Brayden Boucher.

A native of Sewell, New Jersey, Boucher currently plays for Philadelphia Hockey Club 16U AAA and St. Augustine Prep. The 16-year-old blueliner has developed locally through the Philadelphia Hockey Club program and continues to emerge as a reliable two-way defenseman.

During the 2025–26 season with Philadelphia HC 16U AAA, Boucher has produced offensively while maintaining a steady presence on the blue line. He recorded six points (one goal, five assists) in 12 games in AYHL play and added 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 16 games in NAT1HL competition.

Boucher has steadily progressed through the Philadelphia Hockey Club system over the past several seasons. After beginning his AAA career at the 13U level, he continued his development at 14U and 15U before advancing to 16U this year. He has also contributed offensively for St. Augustine Prep, recording eight points (three goals, five assists) during the high school season.

The call-up gives the Sewell native the opportunity to skate with his hometown NAHL club as the Rebels battle against the Maryland Black Bears on Saturday night. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
