SEWELL, N.J. — The Philadelphia Rebels have named forward Broxton Ingle captain for the 2026-27 season.
“We’re excited to name Broxton our captain for the upcoming season,” Rebels head coach and general manager Justin Hale said. “He’s earned the respect of his teammates through his work ethic, consistency and commitment to doing things the Rebel Way. He leads by example every day, and we know he’ll be a strong voice for our group both on and off the ice.”
Ingle returns to Philadelphia for his second full season with the Rebels after appearing in 57 games during the 2025-26 campaign. The Denver native recorded six goals and six assists for 12 points.
The 20-year-old right winger made his North American Hockey League debut with Philadelphia during the 2024-25 season, appearing in one game before joining the Rebels full time the following year.
Before his time in Philadelphia, Ingle spent several seasons playing AAA hockey in Colorado. He played for the Rocky Mountain Roughriders from 2020-24 before joining the Colorado Thunderbirds for the 2024-25 season. Ingle recorded 23 goals and eight assists in 39 18U AAA games with the Thunderbirds that season.
The 6-foot-1, 194-pound forward will wear the “C” as the Rebels open the 2026-27 regular season Friday night against the Maryland Black Bears at Hollydell Ice Arena.
