The North American Hockey League announced its Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending March 26 and Rebels forward Andrew Bellant was named the East Division’s second star while teammate and fellow forward Ryan Patrick was selected honorable mention.
Bellant had six points in two games during the Rebels weekend sweep over the Northeast Generals. He had one goal and six assists. The Linden, MI native leads the team in total points with fifty three (26 goals and 27 assists) through fifty five games. He also leads the team with goals (26) and game winning goals (six). This is the fourth time this season that Bellant has been recognized by the league. He was star of the week for week ending October 2nd and he was honorable mention for forward for September and October respectively.
Patrick also had six goals over this weekend. He had two goals and four assists. So far Patrick has a total of thirty one points (10 goals and 21 assists) on the season. This is the second time the Morgantown, WV native was recognized by the league. He was the East Division’s Star of the Week for week ending February 19.
