Capitals sign Rebels alum Bindulis to a three-year entry level contract

Rebels’ alum Kristofers Bindulis signed a three-year entry level contract today with the National Hockey League’s Washington Capitals. The contract will begin with the 2017-18 season.

Bindulis was the Rebels captain during the team’s inaugural season last year. He had a total of 46 points (10 goals and 36 assists) in 57 games. He was +13. He was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player and Best Defenseman. He was the East Division’s Most Valuable Player and Best Defenseman and voted to the 2015-16 all NAHL team.

Bindulis signed a NCAA Division 1 commit to Lake Superior State College. He played in 28 games and had twelve points (1 goal and 11 assists).
