The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending March 10 and Rebels’ forward Jared Coccimiglio and defenseman Bryce Strand were named honorable mention for the East Division.
Coccimiglio had four total points (3 goals and 1 assist) in three games this past week. He had a goal and an assist in last Tuesday’s contest against New Jersey, and he scored a goal during Friday and Saturday night’s sweep over the Rochester Jr. Americans.
The Oakville, ON native is second on the team in total points with 33 (20 goals and 13 assists). This is the second time this season that Coccimiglio has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was honorable mention for the East Division’s star of the week for week ending February 18.
Strand had two total points (1 goal and 1 assist) in three games. He opened the scoring against the Titans last Tuesday, and he had an assist in Friday’s 5 – 3 win over Rochester. On the season, the Appleton, WI native has seven total points (1 goal and 6 assists) in 49 games played.
