Coccimiglio makes NCAA commitment to Neumann University

The Philadelphia Rebels are pleased to announce that forward Jared Coccimiglio has committed to play NCAA Division III Ice Hockey for the Neumann University Knights who play in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC)). His commitment begins in the fall of September 2025.  

Coccimiglio is in his second season with the Rebels. He has 51 total points (27 goals and 24 assists) in 89 games played.  This season the Oakville, ON native has 14 total points (4 goals and 10 assists) in 29 games played.

“I’m very honored to have the opportunity to play for Coach Hedden at Neumann University,” said Coccimiglio. “I am excited to be part of a rising winning culture and I am looking forward to making an impact with the program right away. The Philly area has truly become a second home for me and I am pleased to return for the future” concluded Coccimiglio.

“I am super excited for Jared to take this next step in his hockey career” said Rebels Head Coach and General Manager Justin Hale. “He has shown great resiliency and determination to get to this point. All the while continuing to be a good teammate and leader for our team. I look forward to big things ahead for him” stated Hale.

Neumann University is in Aston, PA. The Knights are coached by Michael Hedden.
