The Rebels are pleased to announce that Concord Pet Foods & Supplies will be sponsoring the team’s tickets for the 2016-17 season.
Concord Pet started in 1978 out of a trailer at Larry’s Mobile. Originally the Mutschler Family was looking for a way to feed the family horses. In 1981 Larry Mutschler opened his first retail location on Concord Pike in Wilmington, Delaware. There was only one employee in a 1,000sq ft. building. This building still exists today as storage for the Concord Pike location. Originally Larry had two partners – his brother and a good friend. The company grew to 9 locations by 1998.
Today Larry solely owns the company and has grown to 28 locations from Malvern, PA to Seaford, DE. He was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware just like Concord Pet. For over 34 years the company has been locally owned and operated and we at Concord Pet know what that means to our customers.
