The North American Hockey League announced that Philadelphia Rebels defenseman Mikey Conlon has been named the East Division Third Star of the Week following his strong performance against the Elmira Aviators.
Conlon turned in a standout effort Friday night, recording two goals during Philadelphiaβs five-goal second period in a 5-2 victory over Elmira. He opened his scoring on the power play, cashing in on a bounce in front of the net, then added an even-strength tally later in the period to help break the game wide open.
