Game Preview: Rebels take on Titans in final road game of the regular season

The Rebels will travel to the Middletown Sports Complex to take on the New Jersey Titans for the eighth and final time this season. It will be Philadelphia’s last road game of the 2023-24 regular season. Tonight’s contest begins at 7:00 PM.

Titans vs. Rebels Overview
As stated in the aforementioned paragraph, this is the eighth and final game between these teams this season. The Titans have won five of the previous seven, outscoring the Rebels 26 to 19. The last time they met was a week ago when New Jersey won 4 – 0.

New Jersey has failed to convert on any of their man advantages (23 attempts) in the seven games. Dominik Bartecko (5 goals and 4 assists) and Nikita Meshcheryakov (3 goals and 6 assists) each have nine points to lead the Titans in scoring against the Rebels while Bartecko has the most goals (five). If, at the end of the season the teams are still tied with the same number of points, the team with the most wins will advance to the Robertson Cup playoffs. If the teams have the same number of wins, then the deciding factor would be head-to-head matchup which is in the Rebels favor since they won three of the four games against the Generals.

The Rebels are coming off of a home sweep of the New Hampshire Mountain Kings, and they have won four out of their last six games.   Philadelphia has scored 165 goals (20th in the league), and they have allowed 193 (23rd in the league).
