Jennifer Smith ATC

JENNIFER SMITH, ATC – ATHLETIC TRAINER

Jennifer Smith joined the Rebels in 2022-23 as the team’s Head Athletic Trainer. She also serves as the Athletic Trainer for the EHL Philadelphia Hockey Club team at Hollydell. 

Smith is a 2010 graduate of Rowan University with her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, and has her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University. She has been the Head Athletic Trainer at Pitman High School in Pitman, NJ, since August of 2010. And has provided athletic training services to multiple organizations, including Rowan University’s Men’s and Women’s Club Ice Hockey teams, and other local youth organizations. 

 


NICK DeLUCA – EQUIPMENT MANAGER

Nick DeLuca is in his first year as the Rebels’ equipment manager. A native of Long Island, DeLuca is a 2025 graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.

DeLuca previously worked for the Florida Panthers, handling all aspects of Pro Shop retail operations, including skate sharpening, proper equipment sizing, adjustments, merchandise sales, inventory management, and liaison with NHL Front Office Personnel and players for equipment and merchandise needs

 


ALEX ROCCO – BROADCASTER & HEAD OF MEDIA/MARKETING

Alex Rocco is in his first year as the Rebels’ broadcaster and head of media and marketing. A native of Long Island, Rocco graduated from Penn State University in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in sports studies and entrepreneurship and innovation. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in strategic communications at Penn State.

Rocco brings extensive experience across television, radio and digital platforms, having served as a play-by-play broadcaster for Big Ten Network+, Penn State Sports Network and the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. During his time at Penn State, he was the general manager of CommRadio, where he led a 325-member student media team. His work has earned multiple honors, including recognition from the Pinnacle College Media Awards and the Mid-Atlantic College Emmy Awards.
