The North American Hockey League announced is Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending December 11 and Rebels defenseman Gvido Jansons was named second star of the week while forward Aaron Maguyon was named honorable mention for the East Division.
Jansons had four points against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this past Friday night. He had two goals and two assists. The Arizona State University commit is fourth on the team in points with 25 (9 goals and 16 assists). This is the second time Jansons was named the East Division’s second star of the week. He received the award for week ending October 9th.
Maguyon had two points (both assists) in Friday nights win. Maguyon is tied with Jansons for second on the team with most assists (16). He is tied for sixth on the team with most points (21). This is the first time Maguyon has received league honors.
