The North American Hockey League announced its divisional stars of the week for weekending October 9 and Rebels defenseman Gvido Jansons was named second star while fellow blueliner Ryan Solomon was named honorable mentioned.
Jansons had six points during the week (three goals and three assists). He had two goals in last Tuesday’s game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. On the season so far, Jansons is third on the team in scoring with twelve points (five goals and seven assists).
Solomon had four points this past week (one goal and three assists). Solomon is sixth on the team in scoring with nine points (four goals and five assists). He also leads the team with a +12 +/- ratio.
