The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending April 7 and Rebels’ forward Klaus Jogi and defenseman Luke Janviriya were named honorable mention for the East Division.
Jogi had two total points (both goals) in four games this past week. He scored in Friday’s 4 – 1 win over the Danbury Hat Tricks, and he lit the lamp in Sunday’s 3 – 1 victory of the Maine Nordiques. On the season, he had 29 points (11 goals and 18 assists) in 59 games.
This is the third time this season that Jogi has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was honorable mention for weeks ending October 15 and March 31.
Janviriya had two points (both assists) in four games. He had an assist in Friday’s victory and as well as in Saturday’s contest. On the season, the Bloomfield, MI native had seven points (1 goal and 6 assists) in 16 games.
