The Philadelphia Rebels, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that assistant captain and forward Klaus Jogi has committed to play NCAA Division III Ice Hockey for the University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point Pointers who play in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). His commitment begins in the fall of September 2024.
Jogi played two seasons with the Rebels. He had 55 total points (22 goals and 33 assists) in 108 games played. He is second in franchise history in total points (55), fourth in all-time assists (33) and games played (108).
This year Jogi had 29 total points (11 goals and 18 assists) in 59 games, including two game winning goals. He received weekly/monthly league recognition three times this season. He was honorable mention for the NAHL’s East Division’s Star of the Week for weeks ending October 15, March 31 and April 7.
As an Estonia native, Jogi played for the U20 World Junior Championships team during the 2019-2020, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons in addition to the U20 World Championships this year.
“I would like to thank all my coaches and teammates for being there through the years,” said Jogi. “I also would like to thank the Rebels coaching staff and most importantly my family for their support. I’m looking forward to furthering my education and career at UWSP,” concluded Jogi.

Klaus continually tried to push himself and his teammates to be better on a daily basis. He was a captain for us this past season and proved to be a consistent contributor to our culture. Big things ahead for him at UWSP” concluded Hale.
