The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending March 31 and Rebels netminder Jakub Krbecek was named the East Division’s second star of the week while forward Klaus Jogi was named honorable mention.
Krbecek had a 2 – 1 record this past week posting a 2.00 goals against average and .940 save percentage. This season the Praha, CZE native has a 10-5-0-2 record in 21 games played with a 2.40 save percentage and .926 save percentage with one shutout.
This is the second time this season that Krbecek has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was honorable mentioned for goalie of the month in January.
Jogi had three points (all assists) during this past weekend’s sweep over the New Hampshire Mountain Kings. He had two assists in Friday’s 2 – 1 win, and he had an assist in Saturday’s 4 – 1 victory. On the season, the Espoo FIN native has 27 total points (9 goals and 18 assists) in 55 games played.
This is the second time this season that Jogi has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was honorable mention for week ending October 15.
