Rochester Jr. Americans top Philadelphia Rebels 4-1
The Rochester Jr. Americans jumped out to an early lead and held on to defeat the Philadelphia Rebels 4-1 on Saturday night, handing Philadelphia their fifth straight loss. Ryan Shaw and Owen King each scored twice for Rochester, while Florian Wade stopped 12 of 13 shots in goal. Charlie Spencer had Philadelphia’s lone goal, but the Rebels were outshot 44-13 and struggled to generate consistent scoring chances.
Rebels Come Up Short in Series Opener Against Rochester
The Philadelphia Rebels dropped the first game of their weekend series against the Rochester Jr. Americans on Friday night, falling 4–1 at Hollydell Ice Arena. Billy Sheridan scored in his season debut after returning from injury, but the Rebels couldn’t overcome an early deficit. The two teams will meet again Saturday afternoon as the Rebels look to bounce back and even the series.
