SEWELL, NJ – The Philadelphia Rebels have called up Brogan Shea from the Philadelphia Hockey Club’s (PHC) EHL team.
The 2004 forward leads PHC in points-per-game so far this season, totaling nine points in eight games played.
The Williamstown, New Jersey native first joined PHC in 2018 at the 15U AAA level in the USPHL, logging 11 points in 22 games.
“Brogan proved he could be an immediate threat last year as an ’04 when he was called up to play for PHC [NCDC] and now he’s been an instant contributor, putting the puck in the net with our EHL team,” said PHC head coach Jeff Perreault. “Because of his speed and skillset, he has earned the opportunity to play at the next level.”
A year later, Shea scored 18 times and added nine assists in 18 games at the same level.
Shea was set to participate in the EHL All-Star games this weekend as one of the league’s top forwards. He was selected along with five other PHC teammates to represent the team at the All-Star games.
