The Jamestown Rebels, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Luke Radetic has committed to play NCAA Division III Ice Hockey for the University of St. Thomas Tommies, who play in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). His commitment begins in the fall of 2018.
Radetic, 20, came to the Philadelphia Rebels at the trade deadline in February. The Chesterfield, MO native had a total of 44 points (23 goals and 21 assists) in 56 games this past season. He also was a participant in the NAHL’s Top Prospects Tournament in February where he played in two games.
“I am excited to announce that I will be attending the University of St. Thomas to play hockey in the fall” stated Radetic. I would like to thank everyone for their support along the way” concluded Radetic.
“We were fortunate to acquire Luke for the playoff run” said Rebels Head Coach Joe Coombs. “He was a hard worker and he gave us everything he had. I’m very happy for Luke” stated Coombs.
The University of St. Thomas is located in St. Paul, MN. The Tommies won the 2017-18 MIAC regular season championship and had an overall record of 16-9-1.
