SEWELL, N.J. — The Philadelphia Rebels announced Wednesday that the team has acquired forward Jordan Mayo (’08) and a future asset from the Bismarck Bobcats in a trade that sends forward Alex Lunski to Bismarck.
Mayo joins the Rebels after appearing in 31 contests with the Bobcats this season, recording one goal and seven assists for eight points.
“We are excited to bring a player of Jordan’s caliber to Philadelphia,” Rebels head coach and general manager Justin Hale said. “He is a young and talented player who can be impactful on both sides of the puck.”
During the 2024–25 season, Mayo posted 51 points (24 goals, 27 assists) in 50 games with the Iroquois Falls Storm of the NOJHL and added five points in four playoff contests. He was named the NOJHL Rookie of the Year.
Lunski departs Philadelphia after recording 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points in 35 games this season. He was a key contributor to the Rebels’ offensive group. The organization thanks Lunski for his contributions and wishes him the best moving forward.
The Rebels return to action Friday on the road against the Rochester Jr. Americans. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
