The Aston Rebels have announced the dates of their 2017 pre-draft camp schedules. The first pre-draft camp will be held from May 26 – 28 at the Fraser Hockey Land Ice Arena in Fraser, MI. The second pre-draft camp will be held from June 2 – 4 at the IceWorks Skating Complex in Aston, PA. Main camp dates have not been announce but will take place either in late June or sometime in July. This will be by invitation only and announce at a later date.
Our pre-draft camps provide players (birth years 1997 – 2001) with an opportunity to build a relationship with our coaching/scouting staff, make connections with players from all over North America, get on the radar, and most importantly, provide you with the exposure and opportunity to showcase your abilities ahead of the 2017-18 season and NAHL draft on June 6th, 2017.
In addition to at least four scrimmages during each game to showcase your abilities, the camps provide the player (and parent) with information and knowledge that will help you further your development on and off the ice.
At the camp the Aston Rebels staff will hold presentations covering a variety of topics:
- Parents will have the opportunity to attend an educational presentation by the Rebels coaching staff detailing the various paths to the North American Hockey League and beyond.
- Each team will sit in on a presentation on what life is like for our players in Aston, our billet program, our expectations, and the development process for our players.
- Goalies on each team will have the opportunity to attend a presentation from the Rebels Goalie Coach.
- The Rebels Strength and Conditioning coach will be providing all camp players with a presentation on nutrition, strength training, and summer workout plans.

Main Camp will be held from July 12 – 15 at the IceWorks Skating Compex. Main Camp is by invitation only.
