Rebels announce 6 local midget youths as affiliate players

Dec 7, 2023

The Philadelphia Rebels are pleased to announce that six local midget players from the Southeastern Pennsylvania area have been named affiliate players, with five of them currently members of the Philadelphia Hockey Club (PHC) midget program.

The six players who have been affiliated are: Kalib Capecci, TJ Pisano, Nicholas Rockey and Cole Werthman (U18) and Ethan Coots and Jackson Vaites (U16). Vaites is the only non-PHC member. He is attending Mount St. Charles Academy in Woonsocket, RI. Vaites is the brother of current Rebel Ryan Vaites.

The affiliate player agreement enables youth players to participate in a certain amount of NAHL games this season.

“We are thrilled to have these players on our affiliate list” stated Rebels Head Coach and General Manager Justin Hale. “Each are deserving in their own right and bring something a little different to the table. The local talent within our program is top notch. Why look elsewhere when we have good players in our own building. The Philly Pipeline continues” concluded Hale.
