Rebels Back on the Road on Saturday Night in Maryland

ODENTON, MD – After a 47-save shutout from Jakub Krbecek, the Philadelphia Rebels (19-22-2-1, 40 pts) are back in action on the road to face the Maryland Black Bears (30-12-4-0, 64 pts) on Saturday night.

On Friday, Krbecek stopped 35 shots through two periods and the Rebels headed to the third period in a scoreless tie with the Black Bears.

Early in the third, David Deputy rifled home his 16th goal of the season to take the team lead over and put the Rebels ahead 1-0.

Krbecek made 12 more saves in the third to bring home his first career shutout, totaling 47 saves on the night.

Friday’s win was the Rebels third-straight game at Maryland with a point, with two of them being wins.

Krbecek notched his 17th win of the season as the Rebels look to win the rubber match of the three-game week against Maryland on Saturday.
