SEWELL, N.J. — The Philadelphia Rebels have announced the call-up of forward Reid Hmura.
Hmura, 16, joins the Rebels after developing in the highly regarded Chicago Mission organization. The Downers Grove, Illinois native previously turned in a strong season with Chicago Mission’s 15U team during the 2024–25 campaign.
During that season, Hmura recorded 50 points in 69 games, including 16 goals and 34 assists. Known for his speed and offensive instincts, the 5-foot-10, right-shot forward has been a consistent playmaker throughout his youth career.
Hmura becomes the latest young player to earn an opportunity with the Rebels. Hmura was selected by the Philadelphia in the first round, 11th overall, in the inaugural NAHL Futures Draft this past June.
Philadelphia will look to complete the weekend sweep on Saturday as it battles the Elmira Aviators. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m.
