ATTLEBORO, MA – The Philadelphia Rebels (18-20-1-1, 38 pts) complete their road series with the Northeast Generals (22-15-4-1, 49 pts) on Friday night.
In the series-opener, Philadelphia clawed back from two goals down in the second period to come away with a 4-2 victory.
David Deputy scored twice, including the tying and game-winning goals, to spur the Rebels’ comeback.
Deputy’s two tallies gave him 15 on the season to lead the Rebels. He also is atop the team’s stat sheet with 31 points this season.
Jakub Krbecek was stellar in net, stopping 38 shots in the win. Krbecek made multiple stops on high-danger chances for Northeast, including 26 in the final two periods.
Philadelphia continues its month of February with seven of eight road games in the month. Friday’s game will be the Rebels fifth-straight away from home. They are 3-2 in the first five.
Friday night’s contest will begin at 7 p.m. and the Rebels pre-game show will start at 6:45 on HockeyTV.
