Rebels, Generals Meet With East Division Stakes Rising

Feb 5, 2026

SEWELL, N.J. — The Philadelphia Rebels hit the road to battle the Northeast Generals this weekend for a pivotal matchup as both teams jockey for position in the playoff race.

Philadelphia enters the series eighth in the division with a 16-18-2-6 record and 40 points, while Northeast sits fourth at 20-14-5-1 with 46 points.

The Rebels have found momentum offensively behind Jordan Brothers, who has been on a tear over the last three games. Brothers has scored a goal in each of those contests and totaled six points during the stretch, providing a spark at a critical juncture of the season. Dylan Moran, Abzal Alibek and Joe Stauber have also been finding the back of the net as of late.

A notable storyline entering the weekend is Thomas Klochkov facing his former club. Klochkov has registered two points in three games as a Rebel and brings added familiarity with the Generals’ tendencies. This season, the former General has 20 points in 30 contests.

Defensively, the Rebels will rely on structure and discipline in front of goaltenders Ilja Nikitins and Ben Varsa. Nikitins has been a steady presence this season, posting a 2.33 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage, while Varsa has delivered key performances when called upon.

The Generals arrive with depth throughout their lineup. Kody Moyer leads the team with 36 points, while Alec Hall and Braydon Hudtloff have each added 34. Logan Poulin has been efficient offensively, scoring 16 goals in just 25 games, and provides a consistent scoring threat when given time and space.

Northeast has also been solid defensively, allowing 128 goals in 40 games. In goal, Will Mizenko has anchored the crease with a 15-10 record and a 2.80 goals-against average.

With playoff positioning on the line, the series sets up for a physical, competitive weekend as both clubs look to gain ground in the East Division and build momentum down the stretch. Puck drop is set for 1:00 p.m. on Friday and 7:30 on Saturday night. Fans can catch all the action on NATV.
