MIDDLETOWN, NJ – On Saturday night, the Philadelphia Rebels (16-18-1-1, 34 pts) and the New Jersey Titans (23-12-1-1, 48 pts) will finish off a home-and-home weekend series. Philadelphia took care of business on Friday night at home and will go to North Jersey looking for the sweep.
In Friday night’s come-from-behind victory, the Rebels were led by Jakub Krbecek in net. Krbecek stopped 26 of 28 shots en route to the win.
For the Rebels to win Saturday night’s game, they need to again limit the firepower of the Titans. New Jersey’s 3.5 goals per game average ranks in the top half of the NAHL, but Philadelphia held New Jersey to just two goals in Friday’s win.
Connor Sedlak will look to stay hot for Philadelphia, as he has 11 points in his last 10 games. Over that stretch, he has four multi-point games.
The Rebels penalty-kill stopped a dangerous New Jersey power play five of six times on Friday.
Philadelphia travels to Middletown Ice World Arena on Saturday to cap off the home-and-home series with the Titans. Puck-drop is at 7 p.m. and the game can be streamed on MyHockeyTV.
