ATTLEBORO, MA – The Philadelphia Rebels (14-18-1-1, 30 pts) wrap up their series on the road against the Northeast Generals (20-11-3-1, 44 pts) on Friday night.
After a 9-1 loss on Thursday, the Rebels return to the ice looking to salvage the weekend set.
The Rebels were unable to start quickly for the third-straight game against the Generals on Thursday and unlike the previous two, the Generals extended their lead beyond Philadelphia’s reach.
Philadelphia had won three of their first five to start 2023 entering the series and have an opportunity to rebound on Friday to make it four of seven to start the new year.
On Thursday, Klaus Jogi scored the lone goal for the Rebels. It was his ninth of the season and it extended his hot-streak to start 2023. He now has six points in his last six games after being named to the East Division Stars of the Week a week ago.
Friday’s series finale begins at 7 p.m. and can be seen on HockeyTV starting at 6:45.
