The North American Hockey League released its 2017-18 schedule today and the two-time defending East Division Champion Rebels will play their first game of the regular season on Wednesday, September 20th at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN. The home opener will be on Friday, September 29th against the Johnstown Tomahawks.
The schedule for the NAHL Showcase has yet to be announced.
Unlike the past two seasons, the Rebels will not have to travel to Alaska which will result in uneven schedule within the division. The Rebels will play Johnstown twelve times, New Jersey Titans 16 times, Northeast Generals 16 times, and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 12 times.
The Rebels will play a total of twenty-eight home games during the season. They will play on two holidays: Martin Luther King and Presidents Day. In all the Rebels will play three homes on a Monday, two on a Wednesday, three on a Thursday, eleven on a Friday, six on a Saturday and three on a Sunday.
