SEWELL, N.J. — The Philadelphia Rebels have signed forward Oscar Djurberg, adding an experienced Swedish winger with a combination of size, skill and offensive upside.

Djurberg, 20, most recently played for IF Björklöven U20 in Sweden’s U20 Nationell league during the 2025-26 season. The 5-foot-11, 176-pound left-shot forward recorded 16 points in 34 regular-season games before adding six points in 10 relegation-round contests.

“Oscar possesses a combination of size and skill,” Rebels head coach and general manager Justin Hale said. “He has a shot-first mentality, consistently looking to create scoring opportunities and has the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways.”

A product of Sweden’s highly regarded development system, Djurberg spent time with IFK Täby HC and Djurgårdens IF before joining IF Björklöven. During the 2024-25 season, he recorded 22 points in 46 games with Björklöven’s U20 team and also appeared in three games at the professional level in HockeyAllsvenskan.

Known for his speed and power-forward style of play, Djurberg has competed against top junior talent throughout Sweden. He also captured a TV-Pucken gold medal during his youth career, one of Sweden’s premier youth hockey tournaments.

The Rebels continue to bolster their forward core with the addition of Djurberg as the organization continues to build its roster for the 2026-27 season.
