The Philadelphia Rebels, proud members of the North American Hockey League, have announced today that the team has tendered Buffalo Jr. Sabres 18U AAA defenseman Nick Bianchi.
Bianchi, the 6’0”, 175 lb. Rochester, NY native, has 26 totals points (6 goals and 20 assists) in 35 games for the Jr. Sabres so far this season. He is a 2006 birthyear and right-handed shot.
“Nick has great offensive instincts for a defenseman” said Rebels head coach and general manager Justin Hale. “He is a high level skater, which allows him to jump and join plays, but also quickly close and shut down plays defensively” concluded Hale.
