The Aston Rebels are pleased to announce the signing of defenseman Diarmad DiMurro of The Gunnery School to a NAHL Tender contract for the 2017-18 season.
The Highland Mills, NY native, 18, had 24 points in 32 games for the New England Prep School League team. The 5’10”, 165 lb. defenseman is a right-handed shot. He is a Division 1 NCAA commit to Dartmouth College.
“I am extremely honored to have been tendered by such an amazing organization” stated DiMurro. “They have proven themselves to be one of the most premier teams in the league while only being in it for two seasons. I look forward to working with the coaching staff, and I am excited to be an impact in any way possible with the club” concluded DiMurro.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to work with Diarmad” stated Rebels assistant coach Nick Peruzzi. “He is a very driven kid. His work ethic, offensive instincts, and ability to skate and make plays are all tremendous assets that will help our team and D-Core. We look forward to helping him improve and develop in all facets of his game” concluded Peruzzi.
