The Aston Rebels are pleased to announce the signing of the Minnesota Blades forward Mack Byers to a NAHL Tender contract for the 2017-18 season.
The Long Lake, MN, native, 17, had 40 points (19 goals and 21 assists) in 20, short-season U18 games. He had 22 penalty minutes. The 5’11”, 160 lb left-handed shooting forward also plays for Holy Family Catholic High School of the Minnesota High School Hockey League.
“I am very excited to be apart of the Aston Rebels” stated Byers. “I am looking forward to starting a new chapter in my hockey career with such a class organization” concluded Byers.
“Mack is a solid, hard working kid” said Rebels head coach Joe Coombs. “He has a great skill set, and he certainly will add to our roster for next year” concluded Coombs.
