The Philadelphia Rebels, proud members of the North American Hockey League, have announced today that the team has tendered two players who reside locally from South Jersey: Philadelphia Hockey Club 18U AAA Premier defenseman Kalib Capecci and Mount Saint Charles Academy 16U AAA forward Jackson Vaites.
Capecci, the 6’0”, 175 lb. Sewell, NJ native, has 18 points (4 goals and 14 assists) in 28 games between the Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL) and North American Prospect League (NAPHL). He is a 2006 birthyear and right-handed shot.
“Kalib is a talented offensive minded defenseman. He has a good eye for the game, and is someone that has continually improved his game over the last two years,” said Rebels head coach and general manager Justin Hale.
Vaites, the 6’1”, 190 lb. Mullica Hill, NJ native, has forty-one points (18 goals and 23 assists) in 31 games for Mount Saint Charles Academy this season. He is a 2007 birthyear and right-handed shot.
“Jackson is a power forward with high compete and a solid skillset to make plays. He had a strong showing at our Main Camp this past summer and we have continued to keep a close eye on him this season,” stated Hale.
