SEWELL, NJ- The Philadelphia Rebels (4-9-0-1, 9 pts) will look to bounce back in their series finale against the Maine Nordiques (7-7-0-0, 14 pts) Saturday evening.
The Nordiques came into this series red-hot on a four game winning streak and extended that streak to five games with their 5-2 victory Friday night.
The Rebels were able to outshoot the Nordiques 40 to 36, but were only able to score two goals. Bryce Strand was able to score his first of his career and Connor Sedlak added his fourth of the season.
The Rebels will look to slow down Maine’s offense, which has now scored 14 goals in its last two games.
Philadelphia’s goals came on an odd-man rush that Strand capitalized on and a deflection for Sedlak’s tally. On Saturday night, Philadelphia will look to convert on more of their chances.
Saturday’s series finale will be played at Hollydell Ice Arena and admission is free for all fans. The game can be seen live on HockeyTV at 8.p.m.
