The North American Hockey League announced that Philadelphia Rebels forward Billy Sheridan has been named the East Division Second Star of the Week following a strong final weekend of the regular season against the Johnstown Tomahawks.
Sheridan played a key role in the Rebels’ road sweep, totaling five points across the two-game set. He recorded a goal and two assists in Friday’s matchup, followed by a goal and an assist on Saturday.
His consistent offensive production helped power Philadelphia to back-to-back wins, allowing the Rebels to close out the regular season on a high note.
Sheridan’s standout performance served as a bright spot in the team’s final games of the year. He finished the season with 10 goals and 23 assists for 33 points in 46 games.
