SEWELL, N.J. — The Philadelphia Rebels have announced that forward Thomas Klochkov has committed to Hamilton College to continue his academic and hockey career.
Klochkov joins a Hamilton program coming off a Division III national championship, adding to the opportunity to compete at a high level at the next stage of his career.
A native of Fort Lee, New Jersey, Klochkov made an immediate impact after joining the Rebels during the 2025-26 season. The 5-foot-11 center recorded 13 points in 19 games with Philadelphia.
Before being acquired by the Rebels, Klochkov spent parts of three seasons with the Northeast Generals, where he developed into a consistent offensive contributor. He totaled 18 points in 28 games during the 2025-26 season before his move to Philadelphia.
“Very excited for Thomas,” Rebels head coach and general manager Justin Hale said. “He has earned this opportunity not only through his contributions on the ice, but also through his perseverance and commitment to being a great teammate. I’m excited to see him continue to grow and succeed at the collegiate level.”
Klochkov’s offensive instincts and playmaking ability provided a boost to the Rebels’ lineup down the stretch.
“I’m super grateful for the opportunity to end my career with Philly, some of the best guys I’ve ever played with,” Klochkov said. “A bunch of friends for life, and I cannot wait to pursue my career with Hamilton College. Thank you to my family for believing in me the whole way. I cannot express that enough.”
Klochkov becomes the latest Rebel to advance to the collegiate level, continuing the organization’s tradition of player development.
