Weekend preview: 11/25 – 11/26. Rebels visit Knights for two games to finish three game series

The Rebels will travel back up to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to play the Knights for two games to complete a three-game series that started on Wednesday between these two teams at the Revolution Ice Centre. Saturday night’s game will begin at 7:30pm and Sunday’s game will commence at 2:00pm. This will be the fourth and fifth games of an eight-game road swing for the Rebels.

Rebels vs. Knights Overview
This will be the fifth and sixth games between the two teams. The Rebels have won three of the four by a combined score of 14 – 11. The Rebels won this past Wednesday’s matinee 6 – 3 with Jensen Zerban scoring two goals.

Justin Engelkes leads the Knights with six points (2 goals and 4 assists) against the Rebels. Three players have four points respectively against Philadelphia: Matt Kidney (all assists), Tyrone Bronte (1 goal and 3 assists) and Mike Gelatt (3 goals and 1 assist). Gelatt also has scored the most goals against the Rebels with three.  WBS is 3 for 18 (17%) on the powerplay in four games. Goaltenders David Tomeo and Christian Stoever have a combined 3.50 goals against average and .889 save percentage.

Four Rebels’ players have four points against the Knights: Auggie Moore (2 goals and 2 assists), Diarmad DiMurro (1 goal and 3 assists), Ryan Patrick (3 goals and 1 assist) and Andrew Bellant (all assists). Patrick has scored the most goals with three. The Rebels are 3 for 14 (21%) on the powerplay. Netminders Ryan Keane and Eli Billing have a combined 2.75 goals against average and a .904 save percentage against WBS.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights Overview
The Knights are currently in second place in the East Division with a 14-6-3 record for 31 points. The Knights have won two of their last five games, and they are coming off of a 6 – 3 home loss to the Rebels. Forward Jack Olmstead leads the team in points with 24 (12 goals and 12 assists), goals (12), game winning goals (three) and best +/- with +11.
