Weekend Preview: 12/9 – 12/10. Rebels only play one game against WBS Knights

The Rebels will face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights on Friday in the team’s only game of the weekend. This will be the eighth meeting between the two teams with the Rebels having a 6 – 1 record. The last time they played was back on November 4 and 5 with the Rebels shutting out the Knights both games (2 – 0 and 7 – 0). The Rebels are 3 – 0 at home against WBS and they are 3 – 1 on the road.

During the seven games between the two teams, Khristian Acosta leads the Knights with four points (3 goals and one assist). Acosta also has scored the most goals for the visitors with four. The Knights are one for seventeen on the power play. The goaltending tandem of Colton Hanks and Grant Valentine has a combined 4.4 goals against average and a .843 save percentage.

The Rebels have been lead by Drew Blackmun’s nine points (4 goals and 5 assists). He is followed by Gianluca Esteves’ eight points (5 goals and 3 assists).
