Rebels vs. Generals Overview
The Rebels will be home for a pair of games this weekend against the Northeast Generals. The Rebels swept the Generals last weekend in Attleboro by a combined score of 13 – 3, with the Rebels winning the last game 9 – 0 on Jack Leavy’s fourth shutout on the season. This weekend will be the ninth and tenth times these two teams have met with the Rebels winning all eight of them by a collective score of 40 – 8. This will be the last time the Generals visit IceWorks this season.
The Rebels are 13 of 32 on the power play against the Generals. Conversely the Generals are 2 for 14 on the power play against the Rebels. Andrew Bellant has the largest point total against the Generals followed by Gvido Jansons and Brennan Kapcheck. Justin Jallen leads the Generals in points (two) against the Rebels. The Rebels have scored 166 goals (second best in the league) and have allowed 83 (least amount in the league).
Bellant leads the team with forty five points (24 goals and 21 assists). Jansons has forty points (18 goals and 22 assists) while Drew Blackmun and Garcia each have thirty eight points.
