Weekend Preview: 3/6 & 3/7 – Rebels travels to New Hampshire for important two-game series against Mountain Kings

The Rebels have eleven games remaining in the regular season and sit five points behind the sixth and final playoff spot with two games in hand behind the team who holds that final spot and who they will face this weekend: The New Hampshire Mountain Kings.

Philadelphia and New Hampshire will play at the Tri-Towne Ice Arena in in Hooksett with Thursday’s game starting at 6:40PM and Friday’s game will begin at 7:00PM.

Mountain Kings and Rebels Overview
This will be the third and final time during this regular season that the teams will meet. The last time they played each other was back on January 31 and February 1 at the Hollydell Ice Arena in which the teams split. The Mountain Kings won the first game 3 – 0 while the Rebels won the second contest 3 – 1. In all, New Hampshire had defeated Philadelphia three out of the four games by a combined score of 12 to 9.

The Mountain Kings are 2 for 16 (13%) on the man advantage against the Rebels. Oli Genest has the most total points against Philadelphia with six (3 goals and 3 assists) while Jaden Johnson and Genest each have three goals against them. New Hampshire’s goaltenders have a combined 2.27 goals against average and .935 save percentage with one shutout (Sam Scopa) against the Rebels.

The Rebels are 1 for 11 (9%) on the powerplay against the Mountain Kings.
