The Philadelphia Rebels are pleased to announce that goaltender Jakub Krbecek is returning to the team after a trade with the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) for future considerations.
Krbecek had a stellar rookie season with the Rebels last year posting a 25-23-1 record with a 2.54 goals against average and .927 save percentage with five shutouts. The 6’2/180 lbs. native of Praha, Czechia, led the NAHL in games played (51), saves (1,708), and shots faced (1,832). He ranked 3rd in save percentage and was tied for 4th in wins with 25.
Krbecek was named the East Division Star of the Week four times last year and was named to the All-East Division Team for the 2022-23 season.
The 2003 birthyear is committed to Rochester Institute of Technology.
