The North American Hockey League announced its monthly player awards for February and forward Jensen Zerban and goaltender Jack Leavy were named honorable mention for their respective position.
Zerban, who is committed to the Air Force Academy, had nine points in nine games during the month. He had five goals and four assists with a +3 +/- ratio. He has a total of twenty two points on the season (8 goals and 14 assists). He was named second star of the week for week ending February 12.
Leavy, who just completed in the NAHL’s Top Prospects Tournament, had a 3 – 0 record in the month with a 1.50 goals against average and a .921 save percentage with two shutouts. On the season he has an 11-1-1 record with a 1.92 goals against average and a .919 save percentage with five shutouts.
