The Philadelphia Rebels (6-5-0-0) travel to Johnstown this weekend for their first two meetings of the season with the Tomahawks (3-4-3-2). Coming off a 4-3 shootout victory over Northeast, the Rebels are led offensively by Mikey Conlon and Timmy Donohue, while goaltenders Ben Varsa and Mathieu Raymond both rank among the NAHL’s top 20 in goals-against average. Philadelphia enters the series fifth in the East Division, three points ahead of seventh-place Johnstown.

The Philadelphia Rebels earned their third shootout victory of the season Saturday night, defeating the Northeast Generals 4-3 at Hollydell Ice Arena. Goals from Timmy Donohue, Dylan Moran and Broxton Ingle gave Philadelphia a 3-0 lead before Northeast scored three unanswered goals in the third period to force overtime. Donohue and Mikey Conlon scored in the shootout, while Mathieu Raymond made three shootout saves to secure the win.

The Philadelphia Rebels fell to the Northeast Generals, 4-0, Friday night at Hollydell Ice Arena. Jeremy Lowe made 24 saves as the Rebels dropped to 5-5-0-0 on the season.

The Philadelphia Rebels welcome the Northeast Generals to Hollydell Ice Arena for a two-game series on Oct. 9-10. After splitting last weekend’s matchups, Philadelphia looks to build on Saturday’s victory against a Northeast team featuring four of the NAHL’s top 20 scorers. The weekend also features Youth Hockey Night and Autograph Night on Saturday.
